After 2 previous attempts to hold this event, it is [allegedly] finally going to take place this Tuesday. Oddly enough the image of our president that I had used for the first two posters became unfit for print for this third version, and with literally 10 minutes to revise this poster I came up with the universal sign for the handicapped - upon reflection I realize that my train of thought didn't make a lot of sense, but it sounded logical at the time...

Day 103
I made a drawer to hold a typeface. I am taking an advanced printmaking class, we get to choose 2 "concentrations" for the semester, I chose letterpress and screen-printing, for the first half of the semester I'm doing letterpress. I think I might be the first student at school to venture into this area of printing, as a result there is a lot of set-up work for me to do, I unpacked a box with an old Kelsey Model U proofing press, along with a typeface that was scattered around the box, which is what prompted me to make this drawer ...more pictures after the jump
